About My Experience

Professional Experience I am an accomplished equine professional with extensive experience managing all aspects of horse care, training, and rehabilitation, specializing in off-the-track Thoroughbreds. As Equine Program Director and Trainer at the Secretariat Center, I oversee individualized training plans, high-standard veterinary and farrier care, adopter matchmaking, social media marketing, fundraising, and community engagement, while mentoring interns and staff. Previously, I owned and operated South Boundary Stables, where I built a successful boarding and training program, rehomed over 40 OTTBs, and expanded the business significantly. My background also includes hands-on experience as a veterinary technician with Hagyard Equine Medical Institute, grooming and riding for international eventer Alexandra Knowles (AK Eventing), and managing Thoroughbred breeding and training operations at Athens Woods Farm, Ashford Stud, and WinStar Farm through the KEMI internship program. Additionally, I have experience coordinating Thoroughbred sales with Eaton Sales. I bring expertise in equine health management, training, marketing, business operations, and public speaking, and am an active FEI-level rider competing in eventing, dressage, show jumping, and fox hunting.
