I'm based in the Vermont ​/​ New Hampshire ​/​ Massachusetts ​/​ New York region and available for horse sitting, farm sitting, or just an extra hand around the barn. I'm newly retired from full-time teaching and now working as an artist, which gives me the time and flexibility to pitch in. I co-founded a small riding academy in California focused on Welsh ponies and beginner riders (link below). While my business partners are running things back west, I’m out here exploring a new chapter—and open to connecting with fellow horse people. I’m experienced with all aspects of barn chores, including feeding, turnout, mucking, blanketing, and basic tractor work (I drive a Kubota). I’m confident handling senior horses and can manage first aid, wrapping, and basic meds.
